Technical Assistance to implement One-Stop Shop public service delivery in Bhutan
SIPU provided support to the Government of Bhutan in designingthe development, piloting and replication of the One-Stop Shop (OSS) public service delivery mechanism and outlets, providing one single point of contact for citizen interaction with government in respect of administrative services, at places close to and convenient for citizens nationwide.
This was part of an integrated part of the overall donor and Royal Government of Bhutan financed Local Government Support Programme, supporting decentralisation through the establishment of a fully-fledged and effective local governance system in Bhutan, in accordance with the objectives and goals of the 10th Five Year Plan 2008-2013.
