The project objective was to facilitate the drafting of an Operational Plan for the implementation of the Environmental Cross-cutting Strategy and Governmental programme.

The assignment included the following activities:
– Assist the Ministry in analysing and drawing conclusions from the various documents necessary for drafting an Operational Plan for the implementation of the Environmental Cross-cutting Strategy
– Undertake consultations with relevant parts of the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Water Administration (MoEFWA) and other ministries, including the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Telecommunication, to understand the priorities and budget options for fulfilling their part of the Operational Plan
– Facilitate the drafting of an Operational Plan for the implementation of the Environmental Cross-cutting Strategy, in close consultation with MoEFWA other line Ministries including Ministry of Finance and relevant members of the donor community.
