Health Economics in Southern Africa
The project was part of a wider Sida financed regional health programme (HEPNet) in which the University of Cape Town was to play a lead role. This programme was on the part of Sida managed from the Swedish Embassy in Zambia. The health advisor supported the University of Cape Town in training and guiding post graduate students coming from other parts of Southern Africa and also had a role in strengthening the institutional framework for health economics.
