FCG is seeking junior expert in Nepal
FCG is seeking junior expert in the communications, journalism, public relations or similar field for a development co-operation project in Nepal funded by the Government of Finland and the European Union. Project experts will work under the steering of Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in Nepal, facilitating the inception, implementation and monitoring of the project, and sharing the results. The project is administered in close cooperation with key stakeholders in Nepal and Finland, especially in the field of teacher training, teacher in-service training, inclusive teaching, teaching quality and monitoring, and student evaluation. The estimated duration of the project is five years.
The minimum requirements are:
- master´s degree in communication or journalism or other relevant field
- Fluency in Finnish and good oral and writing skills in English
- advanced photoshop and layout skills
- preferably two years of experience in communications, journalism, public relations or similar field with development agencies (multi-lateral, bilateral, INGOs) or development projects
- readiness to move to Kathmandu, Nepal either alone, with a spouse or family.
The junior expert’s tasks are to support the implementation team to ensure visibility of the Project´s work by informing the donors, stakeholders and the public about the Project, its activities, and achievements.
